Default First time leather buyer

Shopping around for a supermoto specific one piece leather. Any advice about fit? I tried on a shift size 54 and the top half was good with a bit of room for under armor. From the knee down, it was pretty loose. Forgot my boots, assuming they would help tighten up the bottom. Would "snug" be a good term for a proper fitting suit? I stopped by 2 local shops but sizing was limited and the help was hard to find!

Leathers should fit like a glove to steal a phrase.

Avoid race suits for sport bikes as they're tailored to put you into a crouch. Do whatever you have to do to try on suits as sizes and cuts will vary widely from each place that makes them.

I have a Syed Custom suit and a Joe Rocket Speedmaster 1pc race suit. Both are reasonably priced, fit very well, and work great for road racing and supermoto. Try as many on as possible if you go off the rack because sizing alone can not tell you if it will work for YOU.
