Any interest in a July trackday in Iowa?

I am trying to get the interest cooking for a superrmoto trackday in Marshalltown. We have run into a problem with the insurance so from now on the owner has to have one of the tracks "employees" handle the paperwork for all trackdays. One of us can't become an employee for the day, it has to be a regular employee. The employee also is to be paid $100.00 above the regular $30.00/rider/day fee, so we have to split up the cost of the $100.00. 10 riders = $10.00 extra each. The more riders, the less extra we have to pay.

It seems none of his employees are interested in $100.00 for sitting around while we ride. If we want a trackday, it has to be set up plenty of time in advance so he can talk one of the hard working employees into taking our money.

I am not sure the owner knows that there are guys interested in trackdays, so if you happen to go to the track website to check out a trackmap or something, drop the owner a note letting them know that there are supermoto guys out there who would love to have trackdays. Don't send a note unless you plan to attend at least one trackday.

I've been watching the message board, and was planing to respond there, too.

I'm READY for a trackday at Marshalltown. I've only been on the bike twice this year, and I'd like to ride some more.

Of course, you'll pick a day when I'll be out of the state or something, but hopefully not, and I can come down.

There are a couple dates in the works. July 29 and either Aug 11 or Aug 12.

Apparently there have been some insurance issues that are waiting to be worked out. It sounds like some of the roadrace bikes will no longer be allowed. Even YSRs were mentioned as bikes that may no longer be allowed.

I guess roadracers are bad, supermoto guys are good.

There are two dates at Norway that are coming up. July 1 and July 8 noon to 5pm $25.00/rider
