Default AMA 6/2 amateur race information for Raceway Park, NJ

Raceway Park Amateur Supermoto
Saturday June 2nd
6:30am – Gates Open
7:00am – 9:00am Amateur Registration
7:00am – 10:00am Tech Inspection
8:30am Riders Meeting – AMA Trailer (ALL RIDERS MANDATORY)
9am – Practice/Races to Follow
Racer Admission & Rider Entry Fee : $50.00 per class, $40.00 for 2nd class
Spectator Entry Fees
Saturday: Adult $15 Child (6-11) $10 5 & Under Free
Sunday: Adult $20 Child (6-10) $14 5 & Under Free
2-Day: Adult $25 Child (6-11) $20
Pro Racer & Pit Crew Sign Up With AMA
Pro Practice on Saturday June 2nd $75.00 per class
Classes

Open Expert/A (251cc + 4-stroke, 490cc +2-stroke)

Open Amateur/B (251cc + 4-stroke, 490cc +2-stroke)

Open Novice/ C (any bike – 14+C class rider)

250 Expert/A (149cc-250cc 4-stroke)

250 Amateur/B (149cc-250cc 4-stroke)

VET 30+ (149cc-4-stroke, 490cc+2-stroke)

Sportsman (21" front wheels, stock near wheel motorcross bike with Enduro or Sportsman tires –
Dot tired recommended.

ATV Open (16+)
Youth Classes

Super Mini (12-15) – (80-112cc 2-stroke, 75-150cc 4-stroke)

Sport Mini "85" (7-15) – (66cc-85cc 2-stroke, 75cc-125cc 4-stroke)

Sport Mini "65" (7-11) – 52cc-65cc 2-stroke, 52cc-90cc 4-stroke)

Junior Mini (4-8) – (Max Displacement of 51cc)
Bike Requirements
Safety Wire (0.024"diameter minimum)

Oil filter bolts

Spin-on oil filters require metal clamps and safety wire

Oil filler caps & oil lines

Fork oil drain screws (tape may be sufficient)
Fluid Containment

A heat resistant Catch Can (6oz minimum) is required for the following:
o
Carburetor vent lines
o
Radiator overflow lines
o
Crankcase breather lines (unless vented to airbox)
Rider Minimum Requirements
The following apparel MUST be worn by riders in ALL events:

Helmet ( must be worn at all times while on course)

Boots

Goggles or face shield

Gloves (must be worn at all times while on course)

Riding Suits (One of the following)
..
One-Piece or two-pieces (connecting) leather or Kevlar riding suit
..
Commercially manufactured motocross jersey and pants, must all include

Elbow pads

Knee cups

Hip Pads

Hest & back protector

In addition to the tech requirements listed above plastic sliders are recommended for the rear axle, footpegs, and bar ends or handgards. These are required equipment this season for AMA Pro Supermoto and will be required for the amateur classes next year. A gouged up track means the promoter won't be so eager to have the bikes back again.

There are different brands starting to show up on the market, here is a picture below that shows typical sliders for rear axle, pegs, and handlebar ends.
