Although I have said I'm done motorcycle racing due to my last motorcycle crash and having had a kidney removed (no more spares!); I have to admit I'm intrigued about this STL events amature vet class.
I'd consider putting my heavy (but powerful) DRZ back in supermoto trim if I knew the vet class wasnt too competitive... although I "won" the 450 Midwest Supermotard series years ago (and used to roadrace many years) I never did ride my supermoto bike on the dirt. I do have some good dirt riding (but not racing) experience but I"m the first to admit I never got the hang of backing it into pavement corners.
Does anyone have thoughts about how competitive this 35+ (although I'm closer to 45!

) vet class is likely to be? If its similar to the fun club level supermoto racing I was involved in I just may be interested. If its more like all expert flat trackers who just happen to be older, probably not.
Next I'll have to figure out how to tell the wife who will likely look something like this...
Thanks,
Jim Taylor
