Default Damn (Doug Henry)

Cycle News: It was reported last night that Supermoto Champion Doug Henry had a bad practice crash in New Smyrna, Florida where he broke his back and couldn't feel his legs. Henry was taken to a hospital in Daytona where he underwent surgery last night.
Our latest update says that Henry's back was in fact broken, and the fracture was in the same spot he broke it in 1997. The surgery reportedly went well, and Henry now has regained a little bit of feeling in his legs.

I thought he had the Ti mesh wrapped around the first break, did they peel it out later?

The early reports I saw was a damp spot on the track, not oil. Either way, into a wall is the result.

I heard it was from an antifreeze leak on someone else's bike but he thought it was H2O.

The track was already damp from rains the previous day. Let's not start the conspiracy theories.

I would think that Doug Henry (being the pro that he is) could handle water... as he has rode in it many a time in many an event. My guess is that it was more than water.
