Default drz sm brake problem

I am just putting my SM back together after a grease job. I had the front end apart but did not touch the brakes, just took them off the rotor. Now when i squeeze the brakes they stick and dont release. I took the caliper off and tried to push the pistons back down (rezzy cap is off) but they will not move at all. i took the pads out, the pistons move fine, i can push each of them down independently, everything is good. I pull the pistons out and clean everything. I put everything back together and bleed the system, the brakes lock up tight but they dont release, it takes all my might to move the front wheel. I did this 3 times just to make sure I wasn’t doing anything stupid, ive had brakes apart many times and I have no idea what is causing them to stick. Could it be something in the master cylinder? I don’t see how though due to the fact that I never touched it

Any suggestions??

Did you try riding it at all after pushing the pads back? I had a similar thing happen on my ZX6rr (Tokico), ended up having to use a wooden dowel to push all of the pistons back simultaneously in the calipers, re-install the pads and then ride around the parking lot briefly until everything reseated with a couple of hard pulls on the lever. Never did figure out the problem, and I've serviced brakes many times before with no problems. If the caliper pistons are clean and greased, they should retract just fine.
