i'm getting the shakes. WTF? i hope it comes back soon.
usually we are frozen and miserable but all this week it's been high 40's and sun. not tropical but very good for here. i just supamoto'd my ass to the shanghai buffet for lunch and back to the office. the parking ramp was echoing like crazy from the LV pipe. a few alarms went off. priceless.
this weekend we'll get slapped back into reality. snow in the forecast.
it better come soon. all my sno-mobile buds are on suicide watch.

those are Pirelli rains. they did ok at the local MX track back in Sept as long as i stayed on the hardpack line. the 17" front wheel was more of a limiting factor than the tires. it tucked really quick.

i've only been riding it on the street for the past week. the weather has been so nice i slapped that head/tailite set up together in about 1 hour and went riding.
the tires do ok. it's warm but not warm that i'm really pushing it in the turns. i've just been dicking around on county roads doing wheelies and having fun.

the little bit of SM track riding i did in Sept, Oct i had Pirelli slicks but i've since replaced them with some Michelins on a spare set of wheels.

here is a vid from my dyno run last nite at Fuel Moto (www.fuelmotousa.com).
the bike made 48rwhp and 34 ft lbs of torque.

What the hell happened to SMJ? Looks like someone didn't pay the bill, it's not even giving a DB down error or anything, it just flat out doesn't respond.

it would make it slow and vibrate a lot. oh, it already does that. sorry.
i'm sure they'd be fine as a compromise tire. good at most things but excelling at none.

feeling weaker, every minute...

those were all 560's. not sure if he sold them or not. he wanted 6500 in the fall. i told him he was about 500 high. now that would be about 1K high from what i've seen.
i rode again today but it's getting damn cold.

No yet, it's going to be a while before I get into racing - I am pretty new to supermoto. I'll be doing practice days with www.misupermoto.com , plus an occasional trip down to Circleville (new Columbus).

It's been a very warm winter here as well. We actually did our last track day at Circleville on the 16th of December and it was over 50F outside
