Default Duc Super er Hypermotard

Was at the LA cycle show this weekend. Just about the only interesting thing there was this: http://www.ducati.com/docs_eng/model...1115/home.html

Sure was neat lookin'. Wasn't really a motard bike (front end too low) but would make a great street hooligan machine with 100+ hp. I heard $12K.

Havin' lots of fun on the Husky but it needs to be more comfortable, like my 51. Sure is buzzy at 75, too.

I've been waiting to see some images as the real bike, not the concepts, are supposed to be at the LB show. I'm interested in some more detailed images...

Isn't this just a redressed Multistrada?

Default I'm getting one!

Heard they're using the new, bigger DS engine too.

i stand corrected

all of the pics i have seen of the of the 1100 were wet clutches. and the fact the that the multi's were going wet, i would figure the posibility of dirt/wet ect would make them put the hyper to wet also

Even the prototype HM that was seen being ridden around had a wet clutch, but when Ducati posted a preview/intro on their website last month, they made special mention that the bike would have a "racing style dry clutch".

dry clutch and 1000cc motor, bike doesn't get the new 1100 wet clutch mill that the Multistrada has, bummer.

The final production version will be EXACTLY like the ones displayed at the Milano show where these were taken.....per the desmoblog on ducati.com

This one has definitely gotten my interest and a future space in my garage.

Just not happy with that gray rubberized tank pad. Hope there will be some clever way of dressing that piece up, maybe with carbon. Might hurt the jewels though.

Slightly off track, but in the second pic (listed on last post) there is one bloke not looking at the bike.
