Default KTM 625 & 640 Power differences?

KTM 625 SMC 21 kilowatt = 28.161 horsepower

KTM 640 SMC 40 kilowatt = 53.640 horsepower

How did KTM get so much power out of the 640 when they use seemingly the same 625cc engine and compression ratio? The 640 is using a 40mm Mikuni Contant pressure vs the 41mm Keihin.

Throttle stops and pea shooters........ The newer 625's are so muzzel'd to meet emissions their lucky to make what they do.
