Interesting look at the new bike.

All kinds of new stuff there, including a new frame design.

Still, I just see "Spy vs. Spy" when I see that front fender. I also am not a fan of the exhaust, but like the Husky SM610, I'm sure there will be some nicer-looking options down the road.

It's clear to me nobody will trump this design for some time to come, I just hope and prey we can get a few prestige models over here.
If not I'll settle for the black one and just order the wheels, dying to see the full ti akro system they'll come up with.

What's up Omega? And what's "up" with that exhaust? Gotta agree with Gerg though, Spy vs. Spy was the first thing that came to my mind too...Guess everybody is Mad over in Austria...

I have the older model 625 smc, the 05 and like the looks and design of the bike much better.
Not just because I own one, but because it seems minimal as compared to the spy shot version of the new bike.

The frame is already strong as hell, and the addition of more cross members will only add weight and obstruct access to maintenance.
-I don't see any frame under the motor??
I'm wondering how they hung it in there.

The bike just looks bigger and fatter, with more plastic tacked on.
----------------------------
The new motor may be an entirely different story though. Smoother and more HP is always better. If reliability stays on par with the old LC4 it could be a good thing.

you never seen a Ducati engine/frame? The engine is part of the frame.

KTM designed this bike this way to get sales from Yamaha XTX660/FMX650 and other Street motards in Europe...

I'm familiar with the duc's frame.

I was just curious as to how ktm did theirs. We will know soon enough.
Are there anymore spy shots floating around?

The only things I dont like are that Chopped fender and the exhaust. A new fender is cheap and easily done and I would change the exhaust anyway so.........Now I just need to money!
