I see Duke II influence in that Motard design!

Still a Beemer, will be way over priced for what you get.

Hmmm, smells like, Rotax/Aprilia Not that that's a bad thing, really.

How much are these things supposed to weigh? I could be interested in a dual sport model.

Claimed weight (why should they lie?) is 440 lbs! I dont think you'll be pitchin' that bad boy into too many berms.....

I think you're wrong about the weight. You said the HP2 was 440# in a previous thread. That makes more sense.

Specs are out for the 650X Moto. 324 lbs. dry/351 wet. 53 horsepower. $9,525 USD. (Ouch...)

There's a chance I might (fingers crossed) get a chance to ride one of these during the U.S. press intro in February. If it happens, I'll report back here...

I think this is the direction Suzuki should have taken with the V-Strom 650. They've got that great engine, but the bike is about 100 lbs. overweight, and what's with the goofy 19" front wheel? If they made a bike more like the BMW, and sold it for around 6 grand, it would be a great all-around play bike/commuter that wouldn't dent your wallet...

That will probably kill the demand more than anything else.
