Default Tracks in or around Indiana?

Are there any? New Castle Motor-sports Park is going to be having something going, but I talked to them today and they are not sure when.

Any others???

road courses, woods, cart tracks, I don't really care, just looking for somewhere to go that I won't get arrested.

Anthony, did you get a supermoto? You'll have to bring it up to my parent's farm north of Lafeyette. We have a dirt track in the corner of one of the bean fields.

hey Bill, I've zeroed in on three that I would like, I just need to decide on one and get it. So I should have a bike soon - a week or two.

Bean field? I'm in! I'll warn you though, the only dirt experience I have is a 250 2-stroke 4-wheeler and a john deere yard mower - although I could ride a wheelie on the mower until the back of the seat would drag.

Did you know that those 996 heads had already been ported? I took them in to my dealer to see what he thought. They were really smooth - like cnc smooth. He is going to have a go at them and see what happens - I should have them and the new cylinder/HC pistons back in 2 weeks. I can't wait to try that motor out.

had no idea they'd been ported. I knew at one time it had a full system and an aftermarket chip, but the previous owner either didn't know, or forgot about any head work that had been done.

the bean field is a good time. nice and soft, crash friendly
me and my brother have an open class racing series going. currently it's only a crf150 vs a yamaha big bear 350 4wheeler. you'll clean up on the moto if you can get any kind of traction.

you looking for something street legal or track only?

It is going to be both track and street. I have been thinking about getting a shitty old dirt bike to have as a play toy. My parents live in the woods in southern indiana and there are trails all over. About 100 acres of woods. No open fields though!

Oops, sorry, guys...

Clicked on new posts, and I didn't bother to notice that I was in Supermoto...

I'm doing work on a possible Supermoto track in Pekin, IL. I do some consulting work for a civil engineering group that has a section that works specifically on race tracks...supermoto, SCCA, AMA, whatever.
