Default Kawi KLX250SM

Well not quite a real SM but for my boy this spring/summer he's gonna have something that resembles one!! Laced up some 17's for his new KLX. He'll be a hooligan in no time. High Five!!

She's a little anemic compared to the 250F, but with Kawi offering up the street legal KLX it made our decision quite easy.

It's on it's way......from what I understand the GREEN has changed from prior years and I wanted to make sure of a good vendor, and proper color??

It's still possible the KLX will get the Team Green graphics that comes on the SE D-Tracker in Japan.
Maybe a MONSTER Energy livery??

I'm think'n the boy just wants to ride the darn thing.

D-trackers are some of the most popular mini SMs in Japan.. you can boost the power of the 250 with a 300cc kit a pipe (you can find one on yahoo japan easy!) and get a FCR for great throtle response...

Bike looks good , i wishi had something like that when i was kid

There's been talk............... ............not right away though.

Just wish Kawi would get off their ass's and import just a few of these?? The door is wide open for them to sieze the market. The motor has already been certified by the EPA, which is by far the most costly and reason why most of this stuff doesn't make it on shore.

Sure it's probably a narrow market, but a market on the rise?

I have a KLX300R can you do the same mods to that as you can a 250?

I really want to switch the bike to motard. Any help would be great.

It always comes down to money?? We used the stock OEM hubs and just went with spokes and rims ($575) and laced our own. Tires..figure $250 Don't know how Dave is with posting resources so I'll PM you the company we used??

The below picture is how it sat when we put it away this last fall. 3200 miles
We've added some ebony D Tracker side panels and fork guards along with an HMF pipe. Made our own lowering links so the young man can touch the ground.
