Season end report

As one of the co-founders of supermoto racing here in Minnesota, (Cokato's Stockholm karting). I must say we had a great 1st year. The season started pretty slow, with less than 20 bikes showing up for our 1st few outings. By our last race we had over 20 bikes on the grid in 2 of the 4 classes, and over 15 in the other 2 classes. We had some local shops come up with some money for a
shoot out between the 4 top finishers in the open class. It was a 4 lap sprint no
dirt, winner take all. Eric Bostrom won the 250/450 class, and the open pro.
Derrick Harff won the sportsmans class. He started the year on a KLR 650, Wow. The Young Kevin Walters showed the old guys how to win the lightweight/mini class. Plans are being worked on now for next season. Hopefully
we will have payouts in more classes. More races (5) more trackdays (3). Donahue Racing would like to thank, Red Bull for their support, and the trip they gave away. It was a trip to Reno Supermoto a-go-go. NGK spark plugs. They paid our Open pro top 3. See you all next year!!!!!!
