Very unique KTM 625 smc for sale

2004 KTM 625 SMC. All silver plastics with custom Red Bull graphics, custom trimmed rear fender with cleaner taillight set up, Acerbis Blitz headlight, blue Excel rims (17x3.5 front, 17x5.0 rear) laced to the stock hubs. Full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, airbox opened, and it has the racing airbox side cover. Emissions bits have been removed. Bike currently has 14,550 miles and runs better than ever. I have custom made pillion pegs that screw easily in and out of the subframe. I have a kept a log of all maintenance. Valves have been checked three times (with only minor adjustments needed the 2nd time only), and I change the oil and filters every 1500 to 2000 miles, and drain and re-fill the oil only once in between each oil/filter change. I have used only Mobil 1 oil with Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer since its first oil change at 200 miles. New front and rear Avon Azaro tires. Bike has a new DID gold chain and a newer 40 tooth rear sprocket. I have 15, 16, and 17 tooth counter sprockets for the bike.

I recently took the bike to my local KTM shop and had them go over everything because I was planning a couple thousand mile summer trip (that fell through). Everything checked out OK. The bike is set up right and has thousands of dollars in extras.

I can assist with shipping and will drive the bike to a Forward Air terminal. For reference, I have shipped a DRZ before – From St. Louis to New Jersey was $380.00. Buyer would need to set up and pay for shipping.

I've had some requests for pictures of the current tires and the chain and sprocket. They are attached below. The tires are both brand new, 100 miles on the front, and about 300 on the rear. The front is an Avon Azaro AV59, the rear is an Avon Azaro AV46. The sprocket is a KTM Stealth sprocket, steel teeth with aluminum carrier (40 tooth, two more than stock). The chain is a gold DID X-ring chain. Probably 500 miles on the chain and sprocket.

Also, all necessary maintenance is up to date. It just had an oil & filter change about 100 miles ago. I also drained and refilled the brake lines and hydraulic clutch fluid. The bike has brand new front brake pads, the rear still look good. The bike is ready to ride, no worries, no hassles. Thanks for looking.
