I am a subscriber to motorcycle.com & I find their articles mostly lacking in any real depth when it comes to reviews, but they do tend to get the test bikes sooner that others & they tend to get the technical data correct & relay it properly to the readers (i.e the dyno charts comparing the hp/torq of the 919 vs the 900RR motor it was derived from etc..)

What I hate the most is their website is a bitch to navigate.

I would be considered bias to proclaim my rc51.org website as the best online bike forum available, but it is unbelievable how many backgrounds we have there from machinists to racing industry guru's to literally rocket scientists you can get accurate answers on anything from home mortgages to stock options to laminar air flow produced by dimples on a golf ball or even putting satellites into orbit (from the guys that actually do it) & the best part is no stuntaz, no trolls & no bullshit. I even get members to sign up that don't own RC51's & never intend to... The guys can argue race, religion or politics & it always remains civil. On the flip side I have banned just a handful of members over the last 5 years & that can get pretty interesting sometimes

I used to subscribe to motorcycle.com but I never renewed my subscription. Some of the writers just didn't seem to have a clue about writing a motorcycle review, it seemed they would write about anything but the bike they would be testing. For the year I was signed up I don't think they tested 20 motorcycles in total!

They would always try to be the first to get a review online, but often times the review left more questions than they had answers.

And their message board was seemingly infected with the same old shit from the same old assholes, constantly arguing about politics and anything not relevant to motorcycles.

I have subscribed to MotoGP.com for a few years now and I definitely recommend it. With their content, I don't see why more race enthusiasts aren't willing to PAY for a subscription. You get to see the races live and it is a longer broadcast than the one they show on Speed.

Hey just because I spent 2004 not riding very much doesn't mean that I am not still going to kick your ass. Looks like the trash talking has begun! All in good humor of course.
Oh I don't subscribe to any online stuff because there is nothing I need to see that bad or that I don't get info from other free sites. When all online news becomes something I pay for then I will subscribe.

Got to agree with Sean. Although I’m a tight git, I believe if you’re contributing to a site, like on here, then why pay to contribute. Remember we’re all contributing to this site. Now if Dave was to start doing features or say interviews, then a pay for view could be valid to cover costs and such like.

The realroadracing site in the UK is a subscription site. You can get information from the site but some stuff is unobtainable unless you pay. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good site although I don’t like the back slapping that goes on at times. What I don’t like is having to pay to access the forum, or as they call it “community”. People think its well worth it and that’s their choice…………why pay to contribute.

By the way, this is the only forum outside the UK that I post on a regular basis…back slap or what.

The MotoGP site is worth the money. They even broadcast the practices and qualifying.

I highly recomend MotoGP.com.

It wouldn't be worth it if you have dial up, so keep that in mind.

With your subscription, you can watch all GP's live with no commercials. If you can't catch it live (if you're wife is having a baby, or something) you can watch the full race at any time.

Access to all the other stuff like stats, videos and interviews is cool, but the main benefit is the race coverage.

why? you would just end up spending it on parts after you crash trying to keep up with me. then you would just have to pay it back anyway.
