Can anybody confirm that Spies has encountered a REAR SHOCK FAILURE?!!!!
Rear shock, upset belly, bad tire, that dude does not need to be on a factory GP bike... He needs to retire or go to WSBK.....another horrible GP race..

Obviously he's felt like leaving for a while. But why would he give 150% NOW? Should be giving that much all year?

At least Hayden and Edwards represent the U.S. in a positive, non-vaginal light. Spies has been a embarrassment to the U.S. this year and is leaving with his tail tucked in between his labia...

Edwards called his bike "a piece of shit" during the press conference. Not exactly the best ambassador with his mouth, although he hides behind his "i'm a funny guy" label.

There was no way he just wrecks like that and there were sparks when something let go. Makes sense that something gave up in the rear of his bike. Just another shitty week for the guy. But at least it didn't happen to Lorenzo.

Exactly, non-vaginal.....yes I made that adjective up...
Edwards is a very good rider, but also a loudmouth redneck. He doesn't do anything for the reputation of Yanks as arrogant a-holes worldwide. Up until this year he always seemed to work hard at testing. Maybe he still is, but calling the bike shit after the team busts their butt getting it as good as they can isn't helping anything. So get him an Aprilia already and tell him to either beat RdP and Espargaro or STFU.
Hayden seems to be the exact opposite. Doesn't boast, doesn't brag, just puts his head down and rides hard, doing what the team needs. I suspect after his racing career he could be a test rider for as long as he wants.
So while Hayden rides his ass off, Edwards talks out of his.
Cant wait to hear how the 'fans' will blame Ben (or perhaps his mom)
I wonder if the bike felt strange as the swingarm was flexing (cracked) and ben didn't notice any change to way it felt from yesterday, WUP, and the race?

Very strange. Maybe Ben should have given 151%?
Was it possible that he was giving too much? Possibly 149% could've limped the bike home in once piece?

He was probably contemplating the $17mm Ducati offer vs the $4mm Yamaha offer while he was riding? $4mm is so low that he would really look foolish to accept it, especially after he quit because $8mm wasn't enough to ride next to Lorenzo.

Another yawner. I think I fell asleep with 31 laps left.
Honestly guys, besides the start and one (I think) lead change, how was the race any different than a qualifying session? I want to see racing. Right now, MotoGP isn't racing it's just the most expensive track day I've ever seen.
