From the "You can't make this sh!t up!" department, Hopkins busted up his hand again "without having set a time" during the first day of the PI group test.

Queue the "He can't catch a break" comments.

Rather than say "this guy can't catch a break", I think he is rather quite good at catching breaks! (Hand, finger, wrist, etc)

This really does suck for Hopkins! Some of these guys seem to be so frail that they break very easily!

.....and ring finger amputated! Once you have all the trick bits for the race bike, the next cheapest mods to cut weight happens to be body parts! One finger = 3+ ounces!

After their first race, there is about a month wait till the second race. Hopkins has raced most of his career hurt, so maybe this won't be any different
