Wait until you get a chance to ride Infineon or Barber. When you can experience a lot of elevation change in a very short amount of distance it turns the track into a roller coaster.
The Laguna corkscrew is often thought of in that regard, but as you well know is a non-event because you are so busy trying to set up to get into it that on your way down it you don't feel anything as you struggle to stabilize the bike and get whatever grip you can.
Laguna is a fun track, but it is very difficult to go fast there and while it is technically demanding of the rider ultimately it is a motor track where horsepower wins. Road Atlanta and Thunderhill are also prime examples of that type of track.
Barber and Infineon to a lesser extent are rider tracks and finesse is what gets you around the track quickly rather than brute power. You spend much of your time leaned over managing the rear wheel and preparing your entries than you do twisting the throttle wide open to the stop.
Couple challenging areas for technical riding, but mostly it is all about balls... How long are you willing to keep the throttle pinned to the stop while you are leaned over or cresting a hill or diving into a 90 degree turn. It's fun if you like to go really fast with a lot of WOT, but being that it is such a fast track not many bikes come back in ride-able condition after an off track excursion which unfortunately have been abundant every time I have been there. Additionally, the nearest hospital is a long ways off, so even a semi minor medical problem can result in a not so minor fee for a helicopter ride.
Talladega 11-10 last trackday attended. No these were not stolen they were posted by the photog on the STT board free for the taking and I borrowed them. And btw I bought the bike with novice plates on it and never changed them seen no reason too.
I happen to think Infineon is the funnest track I have been to. It is challenging and technical. Constant focus required, and 600's can go as fast around here as 1000's

I'm no expert, but hearing about your suspension being loaded up and feeling it are two completly different things! Gotta belive that just because the most famous turn in racing does not make the best.

I figure Nate is waiting for everybody to post up, and then he's going to bust out the infamous elbow down pic to make us all look slow. So how about it buddy? I know you like your ZX7s, but c'mon man, let's see that elbow down.
