They are as near to perfection as you can get and that level of skill requires a level of consistency that rivals technology. Watch the Mladin interview series on youtube on this facet - it's very interesting how automaton like the best riders are. Rainey was the same in his less tech era.
Absolutely agree.....this is the rider's talent. I have no issues or concerns with this. It's a totally different thing, though, to the bike controlling the rider's actions...overiding them and thinking for him.

Thank you, I agree.

I agree...not sure where you saw or heard this. (at least in today's world, with the current level of racer aides.)

Agreed...which is why his comments on the topic are insightful, IMO. He's been consistent with this attitude...even while demolishing his opponents while using this developing technology. Does that make his opinion any less convincing or worthy?

Nice optic but lets be realistic. The Yamaha wasn't "crap" - yes it was behind the Honda but it wasn't the worst bike on the grid, it was secodn best.
Actually, the Yamaha was a middle-packer. The best Yamaha came 7th in the 2003 championship, behind 4 Hondas and 2 Ducatis, with 234 points LESS than the winning Honda (Vale). In all 16 races only 1 Yamaha got a podium...a single 3rd place the entire year.

Not anymore, Pedrosa and Lorenzo are faster now week in and week out than Rossi. I bet Ben Spies would be great minus the TC also.

Precisely! This mortal beating stings very bad for Rossi fans. Nothing to blame it on. Equal bikes and their own settings. He just flatout got SMOKED!

But you just know the leghumpers will try to put an asterisk next to this season cuz he almost offed himself trying to keep up with Jorge!

I bought a 2010 Challenger R/T last November, it's a nice car, but if you could disable the traction control, and torque magement, it would be an awesome car...
