Things are tougher than most for Freddy, his school imploded in a cloud of repoed bikes and unpaid instructors, he lost his commentator job (thank god!), and from what I heard, the IRS is breathing down his neck.
I bet he's selling these before the IRS seizes them and gives him a pittance for "old machinery"

Don't forget the drug use allegations.

Man what a shame. I idolized the guy in his racing days and hope he can pull it all back together.

I don't know how many of you have ever met, let alone "know" Freddie, I've had the pleasure of knowing Freddie and Cel for MANY years, and yes he's got MAJOR IRS issues hanging over his head, and YES his school was badly mis-managed, but there's more to the (school) story than meets the eye, and large promises and commitments were made by backers that didn't come to be. It just sort of pisses me off to see people "pile on" the guy when he's down. If someone here has actually been hurt financially or otherwise by him, speak up, otherwise, if you just don't like the guy, that's your choice, but nothing said here can diminish his on track accomplishments.

Semper Fi!

Interesting that HRC didn't step up for them - they would look good in the Honda factory museum...

Im sure they still own every other bike Freddie raced...in fact, Id wager these were gifts from HRC for winning the titles, I heard Doohan got 1 for each title.
