Default WSS - No Yamaha or Suzuki?

Watching the Eurosport feed for World Supersport from down under they commented that Yamaha and Suzuk are not on the grid this season. When did they pull? I thought they only pulled from AMA.

Dunno about Suzuki but Yamaha Europe cited "financial reasons" for not racing this year. They said the whole budget will be swallowed by the WSBK effort.
In early January they seemed set to supply "works" bikes to the BE1 Racing Team but negotiations came to naught and BE1 owner Giuliano Rovelli decided to stick with Triumph.

The Championship winning Yamaha WSS and BSB teams both closed up shop. How's that for going out on top!

I do rather like the Euro feed. They spent more time on the grid girls/riders girlfriends commenting who was hot, who wasn't, etc, etc.

I don't know who you are referring to but did you see Haslam's GF? Those are some bodacious mammaries that little girl is carrying around.

Suzuki hasn't been a player in WSS for a number of years, the last team to run them folded near the end of last year, as I recall. Yamaha, well I'm kinda disappointed in them. They finally win back the championship from Ten Kate, and then they pull a Honda.
