Air pressure.

Fill-with-water-and-put-in-the-freezer method.

Paintless dent removal guy.

In the order of probability of success, from least to most.

Stud welder. Or talk to a body shop if you don't have access to one and see if they will pop them out.

Default Tank Repair

I found this company called Empire GP online. I think they are baised out of New York or something. I have two tanks that are pretty beat up as well and I sent them photos and to get an est. The prices were reasonable. I just wanted them back to par and ready for paint. But they will paint as well. Anyway just an idea. I have not used them yet but I plan to here soon. Good Luck

Start with a good one. I can't seem to find the damage on this one but don't take my work for it, ask for better pics or for more details.

KAWASAKI EX250 EX 250 NINJA GAS TANK : eBay Motors (item 140370556031 end time Jan-27-10 17:16:19 PST)

Deep and/or big dents require drillling, pulling and filling with metal filler. Bondo won't cut it. As it dries, it shrinks and spiderweb cracks especially if it has been applied too thickly. BTDT

The freeze with water trick is VERY iffy. Water isn't smart enough to know to only expand into the dented section, it will expand the tank everywhere.

Dawg....I can paint it myself, just want to get the dent out for less $$$$ than a tank on ebay. Are you still interested?

If it doesn't have to be pretty, why not just flat black it and run it? If you want it nice, just ship it to me. Or ship all the fairings and fenders with it, and pick a color...
