I live right near this guy, let me know if you need any help getting it up to you in norcal. I would be more than happy to ride it up for you!
What an incredible deal you got on this bike Larry, I was seriously going to try to figure out a way to scrounge up the money to buy this thing. I am green with envy .

Actually, now that he'll be able to swap back n forth regularly.....it'll be interesting to hear how they stack up......UNBIASED and open minded, ok Larry!?!?!?!
I swear to God, if I ever run into a killer deal on either the RC30/45 or R7 I will jump on it like a madman so if anyone in the NE ever runs into a deal like this please post up!
I would have seriously considered going into debt to buy the bike posted here if it were on the right side of the country!!!!
I agree with everyone who has said tho, it really couldnt go to a better home, I have no doubt Larry is going to have that bike looking KILLER by summer time. I just hope he starts up a long term RC30 progress report on here so we can enjoy the rebuild with him.

I've owned both and still own a 45, the 30 wins..............and it's not even close!

Wow, after researching the seller even more this weekend I found out this.
Chris Dolan (the seller) was the individual responsable for bringing the Kawi 900 to the big screen in a little film called Top Gun! In fact, he was the supplier of both of the 900's in the film when he owned a bike shop in San Diego.
In fact, this guy is some what of a legend in the motorcycling community around the world. Take a look at the full build story of a fan replicating the his original work from the movie. TOP GUN

I own both a 30 and 45 and your right not even close, the 45 is SO much better, it doesn't feel next model on but quite a few. Having said that though, I still like both
It's 30deg Cels here in sunny South Aus, today I took the 30 out for a ride and tomorrow the 45 get's it's legs stretched.
Hopefully Larry can give us a sneak peak at other bikes he plans on selling.
If I could only have one, the 45 or the 30...I'd probably go with the 45. But once you have one you almost have to start looking to acquire the other one.
I found this in one of his posts, "C. Dolan vbmenu_register("postmenu_460134", true);

THIS is the guy I saw coming down Palomar on the HP2 Sport, what an incredible bike!!! *I almost got into an accident because I was staring at it!

You have no idea how true you are
I like both bikes alot, but here in Aus, a 45 is incredibly rare so when one came up years ago I bought it as I knew down the track getting a 30 would be much easier. The problem is once you have a 30 and a 45 you start dreaming of an NR750
My brother has an SP1, R7 and a 916 SP3, so we have a few homologation bikes between us.
