Ian Wheeler was talking about the ZX7-RR today and said it was his favourite bike of all time!

@motomatters Chris Walker's 2002 factory ZX-7RR. Of all the photos I've taken, this is my favourite! It was even in the Kawasaki calendar!

@charliehiscott @jamiemorley32 I remember borrowing a ZX-7RR and nearly crashing when the alloy bolts failed and dumped oil on the rear tyre

Russell's autograph on a 7/97 production 7R I saw last Thursday night. It had a full Akra w/Ti can, too

3/00 with tried and true mods. Clean but built for go, not show.

Those are the one thing I don't like about that bike.

Vin

From this page it is not an R Model.

History

Looks and sounds like it just has the tailsection. Aluminun tank, Flatslides, Gearbox, Tail section and VIN are the only real differences.

According to VIN and parts looks real Have to split cases to verify transmission.

You know, I could legitimately buy that Right Now! However, the bike needs a little work for the money he is asking and the $5,000 that it will likely sell for.

Tank

2nd Tank is worth a lot. Sell it on E-Bay with a high reserve. Or save it for when you sacrifice it to the track gods. Bike like that needs to be ridden hard on a track not preserved in a museum.
