Monster , what's that ? Sinister , although the plate or whatever it is ahead of the cylinders looks strange , and the right side pipe merge with the left pipe looks like an afterthought ; should have more of a curve . Jugs appear bigger than the current 1200cc , 1400cc perhaps ? Hope so . Promising , that's for sure . I can see it going into production soon .
Duh , didn't notice the V12 designation so must still be a 1200cc , but barrels look bigger , probably b/c they're not painted black and/or restyled fins .
this thing is gorgeous and has some seriously cool new ideas that are easily put into production. It snot some crazy concept that cant even roll of the show platform. Moto Guzzi would be crazy not to do this to salvage their brand.
the right side cycinder exhaust merging i think was carefully planned to make the right side of the bike so clean looking, that was my first thought, looks amazing IMO. aAnd the odd plates youre talking about, when looking at the bike form certain angles the plates have this crazy effect of continuing the cylinder heads cooling fins into the tank and LOOKS like they have an actually function, looks like a hose coming out of it.
WOW! A tractor with a single sided swingarm, what's that cliche 'bout chrome plating a turd?........

I'm an acknowledged PT fan, but those things are FUGLY.
I'd take the MGS. Gorgeous bike. Pity the street version was so watered down. If they'd used the big bore race version for the street, and priced them $1K under the Ducati 1098S, I'd think they would have sold well. Beautiful bike.

Moto Guzzi desperately needs an image makeover. When Beggio took over he tried to turn it into a poor man's BMW with the various clones like the Breva (R1150R/1200R), the Norge (R1200RT), the Stelvio (R1200GS). They all bombed costing the company millions and now Piaggio are at their wits' end to keep the company afloat. This year they'll build less than 5000 bikes for the first time in decades and they've already fired far too many employees.
Hiring Terblanche to design some unique models may well be a good way to put the company back on track.
They also need a new, reliable engine big time: the present 4 valve design is, how can I put this, not the most dependable of the present twins.
"Exercise restraint and discipline, only responding to posts from legit customers and those with constructive positive intent, you will find that the handgrenades explode harmlessly. You have many satisfied customers who are happy to have the parts you've made. My suggestion to you is keep making good parts, keep getting more customers, take care of them and let them speak for you."
This conforms my ideas. Moto Guzzi needs to be different, otherwise what's the point of buying a BMW clone?
Now we must see if the company will have the financial strength to come up with a new (and reliable) engine for the XXI century. BMW proved you can build a very nice air cooled twin no problem and even H-D bowed down to the modern era with the Twin-Cam series.
Another major challenge they challenge is rebuilding their dealership network. While there are many dedicated dealers in Germany and the US that have been servicing Guzzis for forty years here in their own homeland they pretty much dismantled the old and very good dealership network. Apart from a couple of exceptions (very large dealers selling four or five brands) Moto Guzzis are sold by Piaggio dealers. While you may close your nose while collecting your bike amid a swamp of mopeds and scooters, servicing has become somewhat of an issue because the old grizzled veterans that could dismantle and rebuild an engine with their eyes closed have been replaced by people who can barely change the oil on a scooter engine without making a mess of it.
