Default full bore street tires?

Anybody used any of these tires yet? Wondering if I have a death wish for even thinking about using some cheap tires ?

I agree I am going to drive down to the shop and buy the michelin pilot power for $150 and put in on. Not even look at the full bore tires.

Saw one of these on the front of a GSXR yesterday. Never heard of them before. I didnt bother asking the guy how they were tho, given the fact that he had a shinko on the back and both of them were sporting serious chicken strips.

Ok, here's the scoop from what I've read only: They are built around a very square carcass and have a tendency to drop in to lean, and are then not stable at lean. No linear turn in.

In other words, they seem fine for drag bikes but not so much for street or track. Supposedly they don't inspire confidence.

When it's the ONLY THING keeping your bike upright and in control is TIRES.....WHY, WHY would you compromise with tires!?!?! (maybe cut into the neon-chrome budget, and get some REAL tires....... )
