Those of you craving this latest sbk jewel should be able to get a deal soon . It's a buyer's market , especially for the higher end models .

It doesn't do anything for me. Ugly as hell (well OK, this is a personal opinion, I agree), and it SURELY doesn't fit my long 34-35" inseam any better than the Mille Factory used to.

Nah, give me a nice, torquey, powerful, COMFY, 1098R any day. It's a Cadillac in comparison to the Aprilias, for my long legs.

It sure looks R6 sized, and seat to bars reach is about the same as the R6 as well, however, the actual specs are a more reliable source for info about the size of the bike...

Comparing the chassis specs between the RSV4 and the old RSVR:
-wheelbase is 1420mm on the V4 and 1410 on the V2
-overall length is 2040mm on the V4 and 2025 on the V2
-seat height is 847mm on the V4 and 820 on the V2

As it is (unfortunately) the current bike-of-the-moment, there are waiting lists at the dealers. Wait a year or so and they should be available. Also, as with all other Italian bikes, the resale value sucks, so in about 2 years a used one would be well worth the wait.

For me, it's always the critical seat-to-peg distance that results in major fitment issues. The Mille was incredibly short. Maximum 30 minutes riding for me, then I need to get off.....but I can ride all day long on the bad old 996, because my legs aren't wrapped around my ears.

That is critical... for a tall rider to fit the bike of their dreams custom
machine rear sets are a must... it's a service that I offer at the BLS...
