If JT had just rode there all weekend, I'm sure he'd be a little faster.
true... i still dont give toseland the all out winner of 2010 WSBK championship like so many here do. Hes fast, hes good... i just think he has much stiffer competition in 2010, we'll see.
I put Haga, Fabrizio, Baggagi and even Rea ahead of him.

Actually this interest me..can they do this in a 600cc motor or is it too small?
Yes... engine size does not limit alternative crank phasing...
I predict the the old 180º I4 is dead and buried and someday all the I4s will
sport a version of a cross plane crank... (after a year of intense studying I
finally can explain the cross plane crank)
While I would not pick Toseland as 2010 champ yet either, he has proven twice at least more consistent than Haga and damn fast on 2 bikes, allbeit two good teams. If Haga is "better" than Fabio and Biagi now, there at least is a good chance Toseland will beat them all, no?
Toseland said one thing he didn't want to do was crash and get hurt for his last MotoGP race, but that may be an excuse.
There are a couple of notable riders missing. John Hopkins who is injured but doesn't have a ride, and Shakey Byrne who is also without a ride. With Hopkins and Stiggy's financial problems you have to wonder if the doctor-ordered observational time for his injury was more of an excuse to stay off the bike, but he did get knocked pretty good as well.
I haven't read anything about Camier being confirmed at Aprilia, or if they will run four bikes next year with Byrne/Camier on one team and Biaggi/? on another. I hope so, especialy if that ? is Bayliss...
There are also some unemployed MotoGP riders that might land in the series. Elias, Canepa, Talmasci, and DeAngelis come to mind. All might be Moto2 riders next year of course.
