So since I'm not as rich as some of our Speedzilla members here I sat down and did a budget today and I could have one paid for in cash by March.

But I really can't justify owning 2 exotics so the question is do I get rid of my Italian princess and save $$$$??

Flame suit on so here goes.

I don't think now is the time to buy German cars or bikes.
My brother in law has a beemer bike. The big boat one whatever it's called. Rear end went out and it took months to get it fixed.
A buddy has a 06 twin sport touring model and problems with the lovely canbus electrics. And his rear end went out with no parts for three months. (waay pissed). Yes the sportbike has chain drive.

My cousin has an M5 and there is no end to the grief which is all electrical. He's had it towed about four times. His daughter has a Golf VR6 and that thing has been on the hook a few times.

I'd think that these uber spendy cars and relatively spendy bikes would be more reliable. Hopefully the 'simple' crotch rocket will be more roadworthy.

Hey Fart,

I am a little skeptical about the electronics as I too owned a Beemer. I was 20 years old and didn't have money to put gas in the car. hahahahha It seemed like every week I had an electrical gremlin.

So I just might wait a year or at least wait the better part of the season.

All of these problems could go away if my man 'Matt the mutha friggin' Carr' gets me a Bayliss for like $20K Grand

...and who knows
Maybe by next year they'll decide which design they like and make both sides the same.
