I like the sharper nose... not sure if the needed to lift it though... bit looks good overall. I think the circular pipes looked better than these square ones.... nice, but maybe a bit too late.... took that many years to do this??
to me it now looks to gixxeresque. nose is to sharp, don't like the square pipes at all. it was all feminine shapes, and curvy like a moto should be. like Monica Belucci. now it looks like that skinnyfat soccer mom who has home plate shoved down the back of her pants.
Looks gorgeous to me. In comparison to the japanese offerings I think it looks much nicer. Compared with Ducati, I think it is closer and the Ducati wins out. I think the big 4 should take a look and someone should copy some Italian style with Japanese equipment under the bodywork. Suzuki/Kawasaki have not had a great looking design in almost twenty years (yes, only my opinion). Yamaha nailed it with the original R1 and its followup earlier this decade, best Japanese styled bikes since the RC30 and obtainable obviously. Honda screwed the style on the current CBR after a great previous effort. If the F4 came in within 10% of the big 4 offerings and within 10% performance they would sell. Most people critical are probably jaded by the price, which therefore attracts "posers" because a majority of the people who can afford it don't ride it like a rice rocket and how many really want to race/track day something that expensive.
Oh, and I do not get the Harley mystique but obviously alot more get it than get the latest greatest big 4 style race replicas so good for them, live and let live, and I'm happy an American company that actually manufactures SOMETHING in America has had a great run and hope they continue to feed the economy. Only insecure people look down on others who buy more expensive things than they can afford without undo debt.
