Default summit point?

anyone been to summit main lately? considering running the CCS race next month instead of going to Loudon again. is the pavement in decent shape, remember the repave tore up quickly in a few corners. is there power in the pits, not garages if there is any or do you need a generator.

There is no garages, they put concrete back in the really bad turns, and there is electricity hook up. All things considered it still is one of my favirote tracks!

From what I remember of Summit Point main, the pavement sucks and the right hander in turn six (i think that was the corner I have to check) takes down a lot of riders. And that's a real shame because the layout of the track is beautiful.

Is the concrete to asphalt transitions smooth?
Has the traction improved any?

Its a shame they can't get their crap together with regard to track maintenance. They should take a lesson from the NJ Motorsports Park people.

There is probaly 100 or better electric hook ups. As far as the condition, they paved it about 2 years ago. It got tore up really bad. They tried to just pacth it and put a bunch of sealer down. Now they de ides to put concret bad down in the really bad turns. There is still some sealer that can a little slick. All things. All things considered it is still one of my favorite tracks even though I crashed there this year. I can't wait to go back!
