Last time a V4 won WSBK was by Colin Edwards on a Honda RC45 on 24th
August 1999 at the A1 RING, AUSTRIA...
26 July 2009 the V4 returns to the victory circle thanks to Max Biaggi
scoring the first win for the Aprilia RSV4 at Brno in the Czech Republic...
Thanks Larry I haven't seen the race yet. spoiler in the title would have been nice. I'm a little annoyed with you. Well as annoyed as I can get with you which ain't really that much.
1 win (when compared against the last 10 years) represents an infinite rise (any number might as well be infinite compared to 0) in V4 victories, I can see why larry is so excited.
Maybe in another 10 years somebody will knock the fast guy down and WSB will throw those V4s another bone.
So tell us larry...why cant the RSV4 hold a tight line?

Perhaps the competition sees it differently... like maybe the riders of the
status quo V2 are worried... like what can Ducati do in 2010??? grow the
old V2 bigger or ante up a V4???

“We made up for it to some extent in race 2, Ben more than me. I did
all I could to stay with Ben and Max but they were too fast today; in
fact the pace of the Aprilia, still in the development phase, is a bit
scary with a view to next season.

what, responded to a question he doesnt like the answer to with meaningless psychobabble? yup, good ol larry.
Fire away... I like any question...
I think we can agree that if Ducati can make the long and ponderous V2
corner then Aprilia should have no problem making the short and sassy V4
corner... after all a V4 is just a pair of V2s working in concert...

So what you say BSL that V4s are also long and ponderous.

OK so then by your own logic, if "a V4 is just a pair of V2s working in concert" then it must be just as "long and ponderous" as the V2....only twice as wide.
BTW, I was really enjoying watching that long and ponderous V2 cutting back inside the short and sassy (yet for some reason way off-line) V4 time and time again. While both of them tried in vain to catch an I4

That is not my point... when you divided 1000cc by V4 you get a short and
sassy engine... when you divided 1198cc by V2 you get a long and
ponderous engine... the only way for a V4 to be long and ponderous is to
pair a couple of 1198cc V2s together and that would be an illegal 2396cc
monster...
