I have a friend from Italy looking to do a motorcycle tour of the west coast. He is already here for work (without his bike) until the end of the year. Has anyone done a tour like this or know of a good company?

If up North that Dubbelju looks awesome to me!
but if youre startiug in SoCal, then you can rent a VFR from sportbikerental.com, ideal bike for a Highway 1 ride IMO if you want a sport bike type

or eaglerider.com for an Ultra Classic is the best IMO.... if you want a Harley type.

I own an Ultra Classic Harley which to me is the best possible way to ride long distance.... im doing a 4 day trip up the coast on Highway 1 to Big Sur, across to yosemite, 395, sequoia and back down.

Make sure he stops by Zietgeist when he's in San Francisco for a taste of the City. (16th & Valencia) Either there or Toranado Lounge (over 50 beers on tap!)
