I saw that last night and just now I am starting to get my appetite back.

How can a company that makes the D16RR and new Monster come up with this monstrosity?

An Indiana for the new century?

Boy if that doesn't look like a 70's Moto Guzzi.

But it ought to sell at least 80 units in 09!

Monstrosity? Moto Guzzi? It's just a 1000 GT with an ugly fairing. I had numerous 70s Ducatis and Moto Guzzis. Neither my Ducati 750 GT nor Moto Guzzi 750 Sport had a fairing, and they didn't look anything alike.

I love it. In case you young'uns don't remember, that's what people did to 70's style bikes - they put 70's style fairings on them.
Peace, Love, Dope.

(I would be worried about the exposed for tubes though - they look vulnerable. Some retro gaiters maybe? USD gaiters, there's an idea.)

The chrome milk crate rack behind the seat is what did me in. This is a good test for your friends that fancy they have taste in bikes. If they look at this and don't dry heave...they have no bike sense.

As an aside, I strangely like the new Guzzi Classic. Go figure...
