BMW seems dead serious about building a performance bike. This isn't some oddball boxer twin with shaft drive and weighing in at 500 pounds, ridden by a guy whose best career finish was fourth in the Upper Bavarian Heavyweight Restricted Twins Endurance Class...six years ago.if , but rather when .

What's wrong w/ the paint? Race bikes look best in during pre-season testing, when they're draped in raw carbon fiber. Paint ruins their pure aesthetic anyway.
