750's are the best size motor for the street. 600's are too weak, 1000's are too much power and get you into trouble when you tap into upper rpm's...

The 750 is just right. Viva la 750!!!!

First off, it's Mladin and I would be glad to say it to his face. All I'd have to do is squat down about 6-7 inches to see eye to eye.
Like most professional racers Mat is a dwarf. I, on the other hand, am 6 feet and 2 inches of chiseled man/beast.

Anyway- Mladin thinks 750s are gay too.

Current 600's don't interest me very much, maybe the Daytona 675 but it is too compact for me.

The full-sized literbikes just seem like too much also. As much as all of us might like to think about smoking tire exits or pulling a buck fifty down the back straight...is there ANY of us that could ride one to its full potential?

That leaves twins and mid-size fours, plus a few oddball exotics. If you don't want to spend the better part of $20k for a new top-level sportbike, you are looking at Japanese.

So if you have to buy new, the GSXR750 would basically be the only choice unless you want a sport-tourer like the VFR. It is a fantastic bike, and if I was going to buy new and only wanted to spend $10k, the 750 seems just right.

130hp seems about like the practical limit for the street, at least for me.

Great for you! I'm 6'1" 180 lbs and I feel right at home on my Gixxer750.

I doubt that Mladdin would agree with you.

Dude, Im not sure if anyone has ever told you this, or if you are aware of this or not but you sound like a REAL douchbag! LOL!

Yeah, gays usually ARE pretty funny. That must explain your sense of humor, and why most of the people on here dont get you. Its cuz most of us members here are straight. You know what? I think its time that we "get with the times" and build a website for the gay motorcycle enthusiast like our friend 247 here. Oh wait a minute, I think one already exists...

Its called MVAGUSTA.NET
