the raod version will be 30k, they are not putting all them goodies and carbon on a raod bike for 18k

i am going to fab or use a different tail unit as well as make my own exhaust for it as well as make or modify the bodywork to cover more and maybe get rid of that center headlight and maker some more air intake possible, have to see more pics

This is the replacement to the RSV1000 correct? And everyone expects the MSRP of the Base model to jump 200%?

420 wet is respectable, if it has a decent amount of power.

i have read 180-190 crank hp estimates. that would mean an honest 150-155 roughly.

sounds decent, but id still take an rc8

RRW had the RC8 pumping out 131.6 RWHP during their testing.

The new Sport Rider has a full test on the RC8. All of the testers in their comments expressed basically the same thing: nice bike, but too expensive.

They stated MSRP was $19.5k, so in 1098S territory.

It looks okay but not wow. I see too much GSX-R, CBR and R6 in the styling for my tastes

rc8 = same hp/weight as a 954

could probably and easily be bumped to to 140-145 and run on pump

Regardless of the looks, I'm ALWAYS in favor of something different. A modern V4 that is somewhat more in financial reach of the average sport bike rider (compared to a Duc V4) can only be a good thing.

In the perfect world, I'd have a modern I4, a modern V-2, a good lightweight single, a modern V4 and of course my favorite of them all, a modern I3.
