Stoner's undersatnable but surprisingly bitter remarks about Michelin riders
Talking about Stoner's most recent interview on Motogp.com.
First off, this is not one of those ****-hater threads. I am a fan of his as I am of the whole grid and the sport. Just more of an observation.
I can totally understand his frustration after being the fastest guy out there on small stints and after crashing in the last three races.
I didn't, however, like the way he complimented himself about being the fastest and others making excuses etc etc.
I have always been a fan of riders who at least "seem" to be humble like Hayden, Edwards and the GOD himself (Rossi).

3 big leads followed by 3 crashes and 2 DNF's ina row basically makes anything you say about anyone else meaningless.
This next race may be his last shot at redemption . 4 ****ups in a row would almost be inexcusable.
cant wait for him and hayden as teamamtes ,its going to cost ducati more money in one year than the last 4 seasons in bikes and changes .
i can hear the boohoo's from hayden already "but stoner has all the best parts and they dont like me,my tires,my ankle my 2006 world championship .....i won in 2006 ya know ! blah blibity blah"

He complimented himself?!?!?
Here's a guy who's had TWO CRASHES in a row and you think he's complimenting himself?!?!? LOL!
God forbid, he speak of the ONE positive note for the past month. SO now when ANY racer brings up a positive, he arrogant? You couldnt make this shit up, it's almost as funny as putting Rossi on the same level as Hayden when speaking of humbleness.

LOL.....you guys are so full of hate you cant see straight. Stoner was behind Rossi on your 'big lead #1' there when he crashed, champ.

I meant the part where he said " we know I am the fastest rider out there", there are so many variables in a prototype based series that being the fastest is a combination of a large number of things. I wasnt hating on him, it just sounded a bit more self-complimenting than he usauly is, just an observation mate not hatin...

If anyone would have that expertise I suppose it'd be you, thnx for the advice it may come in handy for the rest of your circle.
The point is, in the Laguna Seca round 'I' watched, Stoner never had a "big lead". I guess when yall are in Rossixtacy during the race, those nuts would inhibit your vision from what actually happens in a race.

quite possibly the lamest comeback since Scott russell this year .
If your gonna make an argument at least try harder than that.
You should also figure out a way to explain why i need to be a giant fan of rossi to call out stoner for his 3 failures.Never mentioned rossi once ,maybe yu have 2 sets of balls in there.

hahahaha why do you keep responding with the same statement if you want it to "move on already "
where is one of those "fail " pictures when you need em .
let me guess, you wont be able to help but to respond again .Stoner is back to being crashy mccrasherton again ,back to same old stoner and back to same old rossi .One is winning on an inferior bike and one is crashing ...again.

Same ol' Same ol'...
He crashed, and its over.
If he's the fastest guy out there, then maybe he should like it? And not crash out whether in the lead or not.
He can't keep the bike up on two wheels while being the fastest, or he can't battle it out and win, when he's competing at the front.
Terrible situation for him to be in really.
XBFO. Just calm down... it looks like your looking for an argument.
Its a wrap for Stoner.

So the fastest rider DOESN'T start on pole then? C'mon, take the Rossi covered glasses off and admit he embarasses Rossi every qualifying session. Granted he embarasses himself by wadding in the race, but he's without a doubt the fastest rider out there. Pole Position is reserved for him each weekend. That's not hate, that's just a fact. Like 7 in a row or something?

And who cares about POLES? Pole position is about being the fastest for ONE lap. ONE.
If you can't keep the rubber side down during the race, your pole position counts for absolutely ZERO, nothing, nada, ziltch. And you can't WIN a race if you can't FINISH the race.
And as we have all witnessed over the past eight years; Rossi doesn't have to start on POLE to win races.

And that lap is usually the fastest all w/e! Thanks for reinforcing the point about him being the fastest rider. Just cuz you wadded and came in last, doesn't make you the "slowest" rider.

Stoner didn't 'come in last'. He didn't finish the race.
You best stand outside and wait for the short bus.
