Oh NO! don't let Larry see the last pic (it's one of those "cammy" V-4's!)
-Rocky-
Good luck on the island, and remember to say "Hi!" to the fairies (pixies) when crossing bridges!

Cool pic Larry, as you know, once he moved "up" to the superior twin configuration, he was MUCH more successfull! Must've been due to the superior handling the narrow engine configuration provided him!

I'll find out if the Cover shot is his favorite...
V2 cranks are shorter but also heavier than a V4 not to mention Honda's
mighty the 90º V2 was a tough engine to package for any optimal
forward weight distribution... in fact there own V4 was able to archive a far
greater optimal forward weight bias than their own V2 race bike..
technically speaking it's due a V2s long cylinders that kill any development
riders call for shift forward of the engine in the frame...
Some Crankshaft weights...
RC45 8.4 lb
RC30 9.4
RC51 13.2 lb
CBR1000RR 18.0 lb
RC51 47% / 53% front to rear weight bias...
Front 221 lbs
Rear 245 lbs
Honda 929 51% / 49% front to rear weight bias...
Front 222 lbs
Rear 215 lbs
Mr.RC45 52% /48% front to rear weight bias...
Front 217 lbs
Rear 201 lbs

So how does a Yankee go about riding there? Rent a bike, buy one over there? My great grandfather came from the Isle of Man. I'd love to ride there someday. I'll wait for dollar v pound (or is it euro there) to recover. It will also give me a few years to save up. I assume it will be an expensive vacation.
