i just started on a 71 chopper i rescued with a gorgeous shovelhead...ill need to take this thing down to the bare bones but it will be worth it, my favorite engine and this on has some nice vintage touches from original builder in 71.

but the knuckle is by far HDs best looking.

can't wait to see you post the build pix! 71... so I assume your going long, king/queen, some bad ass upswept cocktail shakers, a Harman girder, square headlight, & trippy flake paint? LOL

I spotted a a roller w/brand new 93ci S&S shovel on craigslist for 5K, but all this doom & gloom hanging over the ecomomy has kept me from pulling the trigger

since your in the LA area you might wanna check this out...
future exhibits - black chrome
I sent an email to Sugar Bear to find out if any of his memorabilia will be there

funny you posted that link, two of my old buddies helped put that together, im supposed to stop by Saturday check it out.

Unfortunately i dont have the amount of time i used to have to play and build, so this new deal will take some time...which im looking forward to in a way since most of my bikes i built in the past, i built pretty fast, and usually had some regret about what i couldve done with more time.. Im no fabricator, just always found it easier and cheaper to do it myself, and they loked like what i wanted to boot ; )

Im trying very hard to stay away from my typical bone crushing bikes i usually end up with.... im trying not to do kicker, shifter or even full rigid....ill use some big spring on the seat this time... well see how much of that i stick to.
