OH, the whole point of a aftermarket header is for ebtter flow and weight loss no?
True statements, I am not concerned about performance as much as if it will damage the engine. These things are known to pop in time even with a good straight header. I am content to run it since its been run that way now along with the tweaked radiator. Very expensive exhaust that you can't buy jack for except a decal or a spring I priced a full M4 GP stainless black can system for $910. I may go that route anyway and sell the Akro cheaply online. The Akro even has a carbon can

Might not be a bad idea to dyno the bike anyway- fresh map could lead us to that loss in horsepower we are looking for from a dented header

Create some clearance by adding washers to the bracket that attaches the fan to the radiator. The blades easily touch the radiator, esp after a crash or when installing the upper. Don't ask how I know

I don't even think it has a fan I know it does not have a ignition key full on racebike with only the bare nicely equipped essentials. The list of goodies on it is mind bending. I'll post up some more info next week once I get it. Of course if its a complete turd when I go to pick it up saturday then I drive off empty handed and resume shopping.

I bought the AMA bike referenced in my signature without a fan- man, it ran hot. On the grid I had to turn it off and in the pits I had a room fan blowing on it. Maybe my location in Southern Cali was part of the problem. I eventually reinstalled the fan.

Did you find the bike on the WERA Board?? Lots of bargains there with the downturn in the economy. Look forward to more info and pics. Good luck!
