I was serious about the B-King. I have a negotiated dealer deal right now on an all black one, cost + state tax. Even at that the cost on the thing is crazy. I am going to wait and see if Suzuki will discount this model before summers end, they have too these things are not moving. I will have the Yosh TRC dual carbon cans with yosh fender relocator kit. I have seen internet adds for $9999 on them but that is $900 below dealer cost so I am leary of those deals. Yosh cans and relocator kit is a cool $1100 bucks I think it would make a great streetbike and bike night hoot machine.

What about a Ducati 996? Anyone own one and what are your impressions? I know everybody jokes about maintenance, but how bad is it?
Always liked the clean likes of this bike.

No worries about gettin' the Duc stolen, it'll never start!
-Rocky-
PS. Why don't you check down on the Duc site and see if Phool Barrone wants to sell "Gina"............

Say what you will, but bikes that don't start get fantastic gas mileage AND do not suffer the dreaded road rash from "oops" excursions. Also, as a BONUS, the riders are much safer sitting in their living rooms watching television than actually riding. Just a thought.

I have a 2000 996 with 22000 miles.
In the 4 years I've owned it (bought it w/ 6K miles) I do all the maintenance on time and so far, so good. I did have a coolant tank pop a seam on me, but that's a $30 part and you can replace it yourself.
I do about 4 track days a year and love riding that bike on track. Total blast.
Other than that, no news is good news.

Just sat on a Duke 990... wow!!! I really like that bike!!! Very comfortable for my height!!
Anyone know about maintenance and parts for the KTM? Is it reliable?
Also sat on a roadstar, and I like that too.... is age finally catching up to me!
