Rossi with Yamaha through 2010
Rossi to race with Yamaha until 2010 | The Official MotoGP Website
Don't know about this given Stoner's current form. Is he settling for 2nd for the next 3 years? A Ducati signing would have been a lot more interesting for all the fans!

I believe the picture is to reflect some sort of image with his puckered lips around something other than a V4 tail-pipe.

Rossi to race with Yamaha until 2010
Somebody needs to go back to school and learn basic English. If Rossi signed a contract that will keep him on a Yamaha for TWO years, then he will be on a Yamaha THROUGH 2010.
Good for both Yamaha and Rossi.....I wonder how many zeros are on that check that Yamaha is writing?

I liked his statement:

I had good options for Honda and Ducati...I think at this time I have a lot of time in the championship and also a lot of victories. I need to enjoy racing (in order to stay motivated). It's not just about the results. The atmosphere on the team is fantastic.
|
Sounds like he is enjoying racing more now even though the results aren't as good. Good for him.

I meant until the end of 2010, but whatever, you are right! My humble apologies! How will I ever recover from such a mistake.

`I had other opportunities but due to Yamaha´s efforts to give me the best bike in the best environment, I have decided to stay with Yamaha for two more years.'
He's very clearly quite pleased with the performance of the M1, after all.

Yep, the world's greatest had his pick of the litter and elected to keep running a torquey I-4 and the best handling chassis in the biz (thanks to the optimal weight placement permitted by its compact engine architecture). Wise choice and best of luck to the man

Nail meet coffin.
It's amazing even though I'm thousands of miles away in another country I swear I could hear the exact moment that BLS fell off his chair.
When the undisputed best rider on the planet today passes on not one but two front running V4 motorcycles that doesn't say something, that says everything.
When I enter future V4 v stinky I4 arguements all my reponses will be one word - Rossi.

We hope you are still alive Larry. You can't come back until you post the pic!

To play devil's advocate, and in Larry's defense (I can't believe, I'm saying this...) does it say anything about Rossi staying with Yamaha on the I4.....or just that he's staying??
Maybe, he knows something we don't...(Rossi, I mean, not Larry)

No need to play anyone's advocate. The bet was simply as follows:

(note I'll send you an RC45 model and you can smooch ass like my friend Orson (Mr Guzzi) had to do after loosing a bet)...
Nothing else remains to be discussed or done other than the submission of the required photo. BLS may be a Johnny-One-Note when it comes to his motorcycle obessesions but I'm certain that he's a man of integrity who always keeps his word. If he hasn't posted the picture yet, there's a good reason and if he's still breathing, it will surely be taken care of soon.
No wax lips, Larry!
