wdavis- Im not sure if you were around last season when all the yapping and never ending excuses were made last yr discrediting Stoners performance.....hence my busting some balls. Ive never pissed n moaned about unfair advantages because of this or that UNLIKE a handful of others here, to me, racing has always been about a total package. Every yr, some one may be a lil stronger in one category than the next and I can accept that. But a select few seem to have a problem with seeing someone other than their 'man/men' up front and the overanalyzing commences to no end.

Please refer to him as the man who made Rossi choke and stopped his streak. Thanks!
Nicky rode a great, safe race. Liked how he charged @ the end.

Don`t be so hard on poor Nick, he has to ride around and compensate for all those powerband valleys and peaks that are so typical of V-4`s.... I am sure the man could do wonders if he had the flat torque curve of an I-4 working FOR him....

Congrats to Hypekins for managing a 14th! Here's to another 100 races without a win!
Edwards....starting on pole. Where did he finish?

Seriously, Frank?
What was the best bike last year? The Suzuki? The Honda?
Of course not. I say it was clearly the Ducati, and virtually every fan on earth agrees with that.
What were the best tires? Bridgestone.
How is that whining?

Gotta laugh! I give this 1.5 more pages before 247 gets tired and the thread predictably turns into a V4/Larry bashing thread.
I only saw the last 5 laps of the race so I can't chime in with both feet. I'm glad for Rossi and he deserves the win. I am disappointed in Stoner though. Mayhaps Yam has finally sorted the bike and leveled the field and it looks to me that both tire brands were working ok.
Please continue

Going from a V4 to I4 is like taking a reduction in pay grade... like going from a
King to a Jack... like going from steak to hamburger...

you wouldn't think that that is entirely self-inflicted, perhaps?
and we know that Larry ignores a large percentage of the content in these threads anyway, so I think he's OK with the jabbing

Wow XFBO is still going on about last year? This years races only highlight exactly what I( and I think I speak for most people) was saying last year. Stoner WAS NOT THE NEXT GOAT LIKE EVERYONE WAS CLAIMING. He just had a really good bike and everyone else had sub-par. He just had really good tires and everyone else ( who is competitive) had sub-par. Cmon XFBO, Stoner isnt as good as you thought he was, now just let it go...

won a champiuonship, not ships
he almost secured a 100% zero chance of repeat and almost certainly found a way to lose his job

Stoner had a soft rear. Rossi and Pedrosa had a medium rear.

Why is it Hayden and Rossi fans are so belligerent towards each other, whereas Rossi and Hayden themselves show tremendous sportsmanship and respect toward each other?

They hate that Rossi choked and Nicky ended his Championship streak. Heck, one of them actually thinks Nicky could've "repeated" this year even though Stoner won last year.
