Stoner spanked Rossi in the corners, when the junkshit M tires were still outperforming the "majik" B tires, and the "purposed" GOAT blew his tires off trying to "teach" this kid a lesson. That Ducati has the best combination (motorcycle) in the world, is fact. That Rossi beat himself, is also probable...

So is that better or worse than your throttle monkey rock star who has 0 wins in 6 years?

If this makes sense to anyone out there, could you translate for me, please?

Seriously. What are you talking about?
Is this a dream you had?
Who was on "majik" B tires?
What do you mean by junkshit M tires? Michelin? Rossi and stoner don't ride Michelins.
When/where did all this take place?

The M tires have been the shit, until last year, when the B tires (second best, Dunlops if you prefer) were deemed majik. But when Stoner and Rossi went head to head early on in the races (when tires were not worn enough to be a factor) Stoner would retake Rossi every time in the next corner. I. E. the ducati did just as much passing in the corners as on the straights, it wasn't all motor last year. And Stoner was not intimidated by Rossi. Go back and watch a few of those races, and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Thank you. I'll guess we will see if Stoner is the greatest of all time soon enough!

It's the "World According To 247" (WAT247 for short -- I have a feeling it will be heavily used) where, in this instance, he just made up an assumption based solely on trying to win his argument. For more info on WAT247, see this link.
Back to topic, I certainly wouldn't yet call Stoner the GOAT, but then again neither is Rossi -- yet.

I don't know if anyone here did yet, but they're dieing to do it.
That's human nature. Recent events overshadow events or achievements that we are less familiar with.
Hailwood
Agostini
Roberts
Rainey
Doohan
Rossi
Each current top rider is conveniently boosted above those that preceded him.
If Stoner wins the crown this year (or even 3 out of the first 5 races) he will be surely be touted by many as the greatest, because he will be beating the previous "greatest".
