An M1? Like Rossi's Yami?

Seriously, do you mean a motorcyle endorsement on your license? If so, it depends on the track orgs. Most don't require them, but those that do will almost always allow participation on an exception basis. Just contact the organization in question and ask...

I don't recall ever being asked. I don't think it is required for most trackdays. I think they care more if you have health insurance. Besides there are lots of 11-16 really fast racer kids that can't have an M license rippin around at trackdays.

Most trackday organization have a place on the registration form for your health insurance policy number. Now I don't know if that means it is actually required or not. I suppose you could make it up but not a good idea and it might even be illegal. I would not recommend anyone riding on the track without health insurance and good health insurance at that. Even a minor injury requiring an ambulance ride can be big bucks when its all said and done.

I knew someone was going to do that.

[speedzillamode]You don't need an M1. Start on something with good forward weight bias like an RC45[/speedzillamode]

Default just sign up

in my experience...the only thing you need is the proper gear...ie leathers, boots, gloves etc.. and pass the tech inspection. although i have both....i have never been asked to prove i have health insurance or an M1....i have only used two track providers zz and ptt....ptt seemingly extra laid back. good luck.

good health insurance is probably one of the single biggest things you need to make sure you have before you go to a trackday

I wasn't actually referring to your post, I know about Zoom Zoom and PTT, but thanks anyway for identifying yourself as an antisocial moron.

Brilliant and very well-thought out response! How very creative, "**** you", you must have been a college English major! I envy your writing ability, especially after only 18 posts, and I have no riposte.

I suggest returning to BARF, where pointless insults and flame wars amongst dumb teenage newbs are more common.

But the M1 DOES have the best acceleration from 100 mph to 160 mph...
