Default First Steps of a Paralyzed WERA Racer...

Miraculous and compelling story of Mark Brerton, a WERA Racer.

He was paralyzed as the result of an accident at a track day.

Prayer request for downed rider at Road A - 13x Forums.

Thanks From Markb - 13x Forums

His first steps since the accident...

Funny thing is... he'll probably start riding again. I think I would...

He is still wearing the team suzuki polo shirt. So I would def. say its on his mind. Its actually a really moving video especially at the end.

Good to see Mark making progress. He looked like he was having some difficulty moving anything at the GNF at Road A.

BTW, his bike (or what's left of it) is parked next to mine at our "team garage" in Conyers.

Speaking of biker injuries....another face was at the GNF's.....Jose Rodriguez. He had a major face plant at Roebling when he came into contact with another bike........Jose will probably never be able to live independently again but has loving parents to take care of him. Still the same smiling Jose outwardly.

Take care out there folks.....

Wow this is the first Im hearing about Mark's injuries, I havent really hung out there in yrs. I wish him the best of luck and a full recovery.

The attached wera link is confusing, in that incident it appears that he only injured his hand and got bruised up pretty good, anyone know when and where this back injury happen?

Thnx for keeping us posted socal, man this is such a tough subject to glance through nevermind actually going through it.

I watched the video above lastnight thinking that touching moment at the end was his wife but appears to be his daughter, how that doesnt tug on your hearts strings Ill never know.
