So do Harleys.
I never realized the RC45 faithful were also the Rossi faithful but it makes sense now, aged racer well past its prime still defended by the faithful with endless comparisons to the modern superior ...
Just joking BLS.

once again were you paying attention or R u still standing on that tiny piece of thin ice still
there was a weight, CC and tire saving advantage of the twin over the 4 bangers hence the demise of the kawi and gixxer 750 back then too. it was only once the rules changed back to favor the 1000cc I4 did they return and now ducati biatches and they get another 200cc round and round we go again.
No offense but you're completely missing the point of this particular exchange as well. Sorry!
Well Mr. Valentino Rossi... Yamaha stayed closed to their product line by
sticking with the I4 and I'm afraid sticking with the old is wasting your
future...
Let's see... Yamaha re invented the I4 with a irregular firing order... spun the
crankshaft backwards... moved the cam gear drive form the side to up and
over the top... all this complexity just to match the simple V4...
i swear that i will never buy a V4 motorcyle for the simple fact that a bunch of you guys on here are wacko's.

14 of 19 WSBK Championships, and now they own motogp!!!
Put Rossi on a Ducati and he would rip any one on anything a new one!!! They are both the GOAT!!!
Ducati is the GOAT! And they will prove it again next year in Moto GP and WSBK!!!!
Real Univentful
it is funny how you tout the ducati cup as some measuring stick? they raced against each other for WSBK championships for a few years recently and i still don't think there is a 100% backed HRC ride and what about full yamaha support and suzuki for several years?
the 51 did well enough to beat the duke and then the tire rule, Honda left and then ducati started winning again, hardly a thing to brag about
