I never realized the RC45 faithful were also the Rossi faithful but it makes sense now, aged racer well past its prime still defended by the faithful with endless comparisons to the modern superior ...

it is funny how you tout the ducati cup as some measuring stick? they raced against each other for WSBK championships for a few years recently and i still don't think there is a 100% backed HRC ride and what about full yamaha support and suzuki for several years?
the 51 did well enough to beat the duke and then the tire rule, Honda left and then ducati started winning again, hardly a thing to brag about
