Default INSAN-O Yamaha YSR 250F

PainterDude YSR

" YSR 250F 4" extended swingarm, Sato Rear sets, NSR wheels, Rear disc brakes, water cooled 4 stroke YZ250F motor & tranny, WR stator & wire harness, braced & boxed frame.....Very fast, but very rideable...3rd gear power wheelies....Street legal....

I've been building it for over a Year, Finished up week of moto GP & took down to Cannery Row, People were like "What the heck is in that thing" especially when they see my friend (much better rider than I) doing stand up wheelie's around Monterey...

It is a Very rideable bike, Very linear power delivery & rock solid handling...A Bit loud though...But i was going for that Moto GP style & those things are loud....& The brakes could be better but I'm working on a solution to both....

It is CA plated...Top speed is around 100mph but No Speedo yet so just guessing...Very Very quick though....It kind of runs out of gearing cause it is a dirtbike tranny.....Should have used a WR...Oh Well.....How fast do you really wana go on a YSR....

All Fabrication, Powder Coating & Paint was done at my shop in Monterey www.FinishingTouch4u.com The sticker kit was also custom made.....
I am adding a small fan. "

Default

this one is a little ruffer around the edges but has MO HORSEPOWAH!!!

Tony Tice: YSRs: YZ426F: Info

" This is a HIGHLY modified and braced YSR chassis with a 1999 YZ400F (four stroke) engine with a 426cc piston. It has custom painted YSR50/R7 composite bodywork. It develops somewhere around 52 HP and weighs 233 lb. race ready. Currently it is geared for about 105 mph. It's very raceable at Marshalltown and was raced every time during the 2000 season. "

DEATH TRAP!!! I want one.
